  35. What's the story on doing the modification?  Its just an addition to the
  36. modem right, can it be user installed (officially or unofficially).

  38. I would have to get 3 modems from USR first, before I would send mine
  39. in.  The first time I upgraded, I sent a modem in...they said the new
  40. one would be couriered immediately on receipt.  I didn't get the new
  41. one for 4 months (it did come by FedEx though).  The second one took 3
  42. months to get a daugther board upgrade.

  44. I ended up buying some cheap modems to cover the time while waiting for
  45. the USRs.
