- What's the story on doing the modification? Its just an addition to the
- modem right, can it be user installed (officially or unofficially).

- I would have to get 3 modems from USR first, before I would send mine
- in. The first time I upgraded, I sent a modem in...they said the new
- one would be couriered immediately on receipt. I didn't get the new
- one for 4 months (it did come by FedEx though). The second one took 3
- months to get a daugther board upgrade.

- I ended up buying some cheap modems to cover the time while waiting for
- the USRs.
